Sisters in Recovery

This open group provides Indigenous women the opportunity to increase self-awareness and knowledge regarding addictions through holistic healing approaches and traditional teachings. The Wednesday evening group runs from 5pm until 7pm at the Wabano Centre. Light refreshments and bus tickets available. Registration is required!

New Beginnings / Men’s Circle

This healing circle supports Indigenous men in exploring issues of self-care, healthy lifestyles and addictions using traditional healing methods. Tobacco as a Sacred Messenger

Tobacco as a Sacred Messenger is a culturally based quit smoking support program for Indigenous people in the Ottawa region. Activities offered through this program vary by season and include weekly support groups, 1-1 counselling, Elder support, cultural teachings, physical activities, crafts, and more!

Now offering free Nicotine Replacement Therapy for registered clients.
