These recipes have been taken from the ‘Diabetes Prevention & Management Cookbook’ published in cooperation with the Canadian Diabetes Foundation,  Johanna Burkland and Barbara Allan, RD,CDE.

It is important to note that recipes referred to as, ‘diabetic’, are healthy for everyone! The recipes focus on proper portions of carbohydrate, fat and protein as well as little to no added salt and sugar. These recipes also tend to be higher in fibre and filled with other nutritious ingredients for overall health making them great for everyone to enjoy!
