Wasa-Nabin Wednesdays is a hands-on cultural program for Indigenous youth 13-18 to gain experience with Indigenous arts, crafts, tools and activities. Facilitators will be brought in to guide programming and teach about cultures from across Turtle Island.
Our theme this fall will be “The Power of Voice”. For this session, we’ll speak of the upcoming Fall Equinox and explore the notions of “equality” and “balance” (and movement, that ongoing circle of life), and what that can mean in a contemporary person’s life, through COLLAGE, using images and/or letters and words cut-outs to create simple but powerful images / texts / poems.
Time: 4:30 to 6 pm
Location: Youth House, 275 Bradley Ave. (backyard, weather permitting)
We hope you can join us! Please RSVP to help us plan by filling out this form: https://forms.office.com/r/rT2AR811jV
