August is Breastfeeding awareness month!

Breastfeeding is one of the Trees of Life a mother gifts her baby.

From bonding from the beginning, to nutrition and protection. There are so many reasons to give your child breastmilk.
Whether it’s the colostrum that is only present for a limited time; 2 – 5 days, or if you’re in it for the long haul. Every little bit matters.

***Fun Fact: It takes 5 drops of colostrum in the cheek of a newborn, within the first 2 hours after they are born, to help stabilize their sugars, preventing Hypoglycemia!***
