Based in our Early Years House, across the street from the Wabano Centre, Wabano Kids is a place where Indigenous families can find support through play, culture programming and development workshops.
Join us every week for activities for families with Indigenous children aged 0-6
Our activities are free to all participants, and are designed especially for children aged 0 – 6, and their families. We are please to provide supplies to participating families, so please register using on our events page so we can ensure we have enough materials on hand for everyone.
Drop-In Play Time
Fun for kids and caregivers! We welcome all extended family members to join in playtime. Come and connect with your child, other caregivers and Early Years professionals.
Wabano Kids programming is moving online until further notice. But we’ve still got lots of great activities for you and your little ones!
Space is limited, so be sure to register for events ahead of time. We’re able to accommodate up to 8 families at each of our on-line events. Our Early Years team will prepare a “Zoom kit” that families can pick up. We’ll provide everything you need to participate in our crafts and cooking activities.
Kit pick-up will happen on Mondays between 2 P.M. and 5 P.M. the week of. If you are unable to pick up, you can coordinate with the EY team.
November pick up dates are November 8, 15, and 20.
