When a child becomes part of your life, a whole new journey begins.

Based in our Early Years House, across the street from the Wabano Centre, Wabano Kids is a place where Indigenous families can find support through play, culture programming and development workshops.

Join us every week for activities for families with Indigenous children aged 0-6

Our activities are free to all participants, and are designed especially for children aged 0 – 6, and their families. We are please to provide supplies to participating families, so please register using on our events page so we can ensure we have enough materials on hand for everyone.

Drop in Play Time

Fun for kids and caregivers! We welcome all extended family members to join in play time. Come and connect with your child, other caregivers and Early Years professionals.

Perinatal Programs

There’s lots to know when a new baby arrives. We help you prepare for your baby’s arrival and support you during those first critical months as you welcome them home.

Parenting Bundle

Learn traditional Indigenous parenting techniques to put in your “bundle”.  The next cycle for Parenting Bundle launches on January 12th, 2022 and runs to March 30th, 2022. Be sure to follow us on Facebook for updates on registration.
