Join us for a family-friendly field trip and nature walk event visiting multiple sites along the Kitji Sziibii Ottawa River including a visit to sacred ceremonial site, Akikojiwan also known as the Kitji Akik (or Great Kettle) or Chaudiere Falls. Learn about the great Ottawa River and the wildlife that can be seen here. We can expect to see many birds on fall migration. Bring a pair of binoculars or camera gear if you have them. Dress for the weather and wear good footwear.

🚏Vans departs from Wabano at 10:00am. Please arrive after 9:30am.
