Join us for a special Culture Night with the Sons of Membertou, a renowned Mi’kmaw drum group, on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025 from 6-7pm. This week only, we’re moving our Culture Night to Wednesday for a performance that will take you on a powerful journey through Mi’kmaw music. The group will also host an interactive Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to learn more about their traditions, music, and the cultural significance behind their work. Be sure to check out their re-issued album Wapna’kik: The People of the Dawn, which beautifully captures the essence of their music and culture.
This event is open to all, but we especially invite Indigenous community members to join in the conversation. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with the Sons of Membertou and celebrate Mi’kmaw culture in a vibrant and meaningful way!
