
The Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health is proud to host a one-day Indigenous Youth Wellness, Safety, and Empowerment Gathering for Indigenous youth and students ages 13–25.
This free gathering will provide a culturally grounded and supportive space where youth can explore mental wellness, strengthen cultural identity, learn about anti-human trafficking from an Indigenous perspective, and build meaningful connections with peers from across Ottawa.

– Cultural teachings and storytelling focused on mental wellness
– A featured presentation by Makhena Rankin Guerin on healing through culture
– Anti-human trafficking awareness through an Indigenous lens
– Lunch and cultural performances
This gathering is free to attend. Youth workers and support staff are welcome to join alongside participants. Registration is required, as space is limited.
