An Evening with Winona LaDuke

Tuesday, February 24, 2026 | 5:30–8:30 pm
Wabano Centre for Indigenous Health
Tickets: $50 (includes a light dinner)

Join us for a powerful and inspiring evening with Winona LaDuke, an internationally renowned Anishinaabe writer, land defender, economist, and environmental justice leader.

For decades, Winona LaDuke has been at the forefront of Indigenous rights, climate justice, and community-led solutions rooted in traditional knowledge and responsibility to the land. Her work challenges us to think deeply about sustainability, sovereignty, and what it truly means to live in balance with the earth—while offering hopeful, practical pathways forward.

This special evening at Wabano is an opportunity to hear directly from one of the most influential Indigenous voices of our time, engage in meaningful reflection and dialogue, and connect with others who care about justice, land, and community wellbeing. Guests will enjoy a welcoming atmosphere and a light dinner as part of the experience.

Spaces are limited. Secure your ticket and be part of an evening that promises insight, inspiration, and connection.
