Join us for an inspiring day of movement, culture, and storytelling with champion hoop dancer Beany John.

Beany, known for her dynamic performances at the Wabano Gala and for sharing her gifts across Turtle Island, brings deep cultural knowledge and an uplifting teaching style that welcomes participants of all experience levels.

Through this workshop, participants will explore the history and teachings of the hoop dance, learn foundational 3 hoop dance combinations, create their own personalized hoops, and experience a live performance and storytelling that connects movement, identity, and tradition.
