Get ready for an exciting and adventurous day at Dow’s Lake, where we’ll enjoy fishing, kayaking, and learning about traditional fishing practices. This is a perfect opportunity to connect with nature, have fun, and maybe even win a prize!

Event Highlights:

– Fishing with Frank: Try your hand at fishing with Frank, a skilled fisherman from our mental wellness team. Learn about traditional Indigenous fishing techniques and enjoy some quality time outdoors. All fishing materials will be supplied.

– Kayaking: Explore the beautiful waters of Dow’s Lake by kayak. Enjoy the serene surroundings and experience the joy of paddling.

– Nature Appreciation: Take in the natural beauty around you, enjoy the fresh air, and relax by the water.

– Prize for the Biggest Fish: Put your fishing skills to the test! A special prize awaits the participant who catches the biggest fish of the day.

– Lunch Provided: Enjoy a delicious lunch with fellow participants. It’s the perfect time to relax, refuel, and share stories.
