Join us for a virtual lunch-and-learn session featuring the acclaimed Monique Gray Smith.

 

Monique is a celebrated author, consultant, and proud mother of twins. Her nine books, ranging from children’s literature to adult reads, including the adaptation of Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass for Young Adults, are rich with wisdom and hope. Of Cree and Scottish heritage, Monique has been sober and dedicated to her healing journey for over 33 years. She is renowned for her storytelling, generosity, and focus on resilience.

 

In this fireside chat webinar, hosted by Wabano Board Member Melissa Hammell, Monique will share her teachings on “Love is Medicine”, a central theme of her work and its critical role in healthcare. The session will conclude with an interactive Q&A, allowing attendees to engage directly with Monique.
