Wabano Indigenous Summer Camps 13-18 Registration is now open!

Wabano is welcoming Indigenous youth 13 to 18 years old to our “Wabano Summer LEADERSHIP CAMP 2024″.
This  is a two-week day camp that will run Tuesdays to Fridays from August 13 to 23, 2024, and includes land-based and cultural activities with Indigenous teachings.

All  cultural camps are based at Wabano Centre, with fun outings every day: swimming at beach cultural teachings, games and crafts (Elders & knowledge keepers on-the-land discovery exciting special outings yummy lunch and treats, and more!

Lunches will be provided. (Please bring your own food if there are special dietary restrictions. Sorry, we can’t accommodate at this time.)

Location: Base camp: Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health at 299 Montreal Rd, Vanier, ON, K1L 6B8, with several field trips

Dates:

Week 1 – Tuesday, August 13 to Friday, August 16 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Week 2 – Tuesday, August 20 to Friday, August 23 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
