Join us for a two-day workshop for First Nations, Inuit & Metis community members to gain deeper insight while learning teachings and healing through art therapy. For many years Linda Manitowabi has been learning the traditional teachings and ceremonies of the Ojibwe Midewiwin Society. She combines her art therapy background with these traditional teachings to connect with Indigenous people on their healing journey.

Linda Manitowabi is an Anishnaabe-Kew from Wikwemikong First Nation. She is retired from the Rainbow District School Board as an Ojibwe language teacher and has studied art therapy at the University of Western Ontario. For many years Linda has been learning the traditional teachings and ceremonies of the Ojibwe Midewiwin Society. She combines her art therapy background with these traditional teachings to connect with Indigenous people on their healing journey.

Time:   10 am – 4 pm

Location: Wabano Centre, 299 Montreal Road – Sky Room
